Family
- I have a mom and a dad, Brenda and Lee, who grew up together in Appleton, went to the same high school together, and have been married for almost 30 years.
- I have one older brother named Sam. He is a physicist and went to school out in Montana. He lives out in Montana currently and works in a lab playing with lasers all day.
- I have one older sister named Abby. She is a Nutritionist and Dietitian and attended LaCrosse in Wisconsin. She is beginning her career while beginning her Master's journey.
Recreation
- I love to go camping and staying out in the woods. I've been camping my whole life and always found it super relaxing. There's nothing better than disconnecting from the world and sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows. My family and I used to go camping in Door County all the time and I'm looking forward to the camping opportunities up here in the Duluth area.
- I like to go fishing. I haven't had the chance to go fishing in Duluth, but I hope I get the chance this summer. I find it super relaxing to be able to sit on a dock and cast out over calm water. Even though I might not always catch something, I always have a nice time.
- I really enjoy going hiking. I have been able to go hiking a few times while here in Duluth and it's some of the prettiest hikes I've experienced. I like hiking because it keeps you active while giving you cool experiences and views. I've been hiking all over the country and it's something that I'll for sure do for the rest of my life.
Sports
- I like playing Basketball with friends and family, and just going and shooting around. It's something that I find relaxing and can be nice to take your mind off things.
- I like playing games like bags, pickleball, pool, or other simple games. I think yard games and simpler games are fun to do. It's an easy way to have some competition and have fun at the same time because it isn't taken super seriously.
- I've always loved playing football. It's been my passion since I was a little kid. I now play football here at UMD and play Wide Receiver. I'm excited for my future here and think it'll be very fun playing with my teammates and creating lifelong bonds with them.
